For this reason, their skin is covered with mycotoxin sacs that glow in the dark and large scale-like tissues that cover their entire body. It is very difficult to kill because of this armor. Bloaters are extremely aggressive, but they move rather slowly and lack body coordination, making them more predictable than other infected. Clickers Level 3 Infection Clickers have faces completely distorted and scarred by the fungus growing from their infected brains, they look less human than runners and stalkers, and they often have a mouth with only jagged teeth left behind. At this point in evolution, the clothes the host might have been wearing are mostly tattered and destroyed. The skin is covered in mold and scaly fungal growths that can be seen glowing in the dark. Runners Level 1 Infection Infected people enter this stage in a week or less, depending on where they were bitten. One of the most noticeable symptoms of a runner is increased irritability and hostility towards others. Their skin is pale, mottled and covered with lesions, and their hair has begun to thin and fall out.
